Well, a New Year, a new start. I don’t really believe in resolutions, because I think we can start new anytime. But something about the New Year beginning, does give one cause to stop and think about what could be better. Maybe even to review our priorities.
We had a good Christmas, it went fast and we were exhausted afterward. It was nice to see family and spend some time with them. But, yes, there seemed to be a cloud hanging over the events. I didn’t realize it at the time, but later, while I was sick and had to rest to catch up…it gave me time to think about it.
It’s not that we plan to get so busy, it just happens. We always intend to contact everyone and send our Christmas greetings. I even made cards this year…fifty of them! But they are mostly still on my table. I just want you all to know that even if you don’t hear from me, I still love you, pray for you and want the Lord’s best for you.
Now that the new year has started, it seems silly to send out my cards. But my greeting hasn’t changed. Happy New Year! God is good, ALL the time. And whatever this new year holds, good or bad. We know WHO is in control and can trust HIM, with EVERYTHING and EVERYONE.
I am working on a new calendar…in fact it is almost finished, just needs proofed and printed. If you want one, I’d be happy to send it, but I’d like to get some proceeds to help with the much needed shed at the cottage. So for anyone who sends me at least $10 I will send you a calendar of all the family birthdays. I will work on an address book next.
So, get your orders in, so I know how many to make!
